Jessica Wozniak has been a student of yoga for more than 10 years and a yoga instructor since 2003. She teaches a Vinyasa-flow style class, drawing primarily from Hatha and Ashtanga yoga, while incorporating poses from Tai Chi, Pilates, and yoga therapy. The level of intensity of each class varies depending on the students’ experience and needs. In addition to working on strength, flexibility, and balance, we conclude each class with a few minutes of relaxation and reflection. She was certified in American Power Yoga (Yoga Alliance 200hr) in Dallas, Texas, where she studied with Kurt Johnsen. With gratitude she thanks her many teachers including: Michelle Andrie, of Priya Yoga in Dallas; Ricky Tran of the Krama Yoga Center in Dallas; Doug Keller; Tias Little; Doug Swenson; and Dr. Phillips, professor of the philosophy of yoga at the University of Texas at Austin. During her travels she has taught yoga classes around the world, including in Austin, Texas; Sydney, Australia; and Roatan, Honduras.
