At Urban, we fully embrace the diversity of the yoga practice. We offer many styles of yoga from dynamic, energetic vinyasa practices to calming, meditative yin practices. All of our classes are suitable for beginners and long-time practitioners alike. In celebrating and offering a full spectrum of yoga classes, we aspire to create rich, fulfilling, well-rounded, healing practices for body, mind, and spirit.
Gentle Yoga & Movement
Explore creative sequencing and find your connection to the flow of energy in movement and in stillness. Discover your ability to strengthen and self-heal through intuitive offerings of meditation, asana, and myofascial release. This practice is rooted in the principle that each practitioner may bring their own dynamic by listening and responding to the unique and ever evolving needs of their body mind spirit.
Hatha Yoga is a well-rounded classical yoga practice that focuses on alignment and finding the balance between strength and freedom. This 60 minute deliberate practice, supported by the breath, leads to good health, a clear mind, and a kind heart. Offered online only.
Hatha & Meditation
This one-hour session is designed to support every participant — regardless of experience or ability — to physically, mentally, and emotionally open up, get grounded, and enjoy the benefits of a guided mediation. It’s a good idea to have a blanket or other support to help you seat comfortably for meditation— a bolster, a block (or two), a stack of books, a large kitchen pot, even a chair if you like! Midday Energizing Flow
This refreshing yoga mini-class is your formula for a midday weekday pick me up! Explore what serves you best through a fusion of breathwork, stretching, and strength building with a peaceful savasana to quiet your mind. You’ll leave this 45-minute class feeling renewed and energized to embrace the rest of the day with time left for lunch. Nurture your mind and body every Tuesday and Thursday in studio or online.
Restore & Renew
Relish a perfect compliment to our more dynamic offerings with a 75 minute practice that gently encourages release in the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis, and spine. Suitable for all levels, this class invites students to savor longer poses, often fully supported by props, in order to reach deep physical and spiritual balance and relaxation. Offered online only.
Therapeutic Vinyasa incorporates yoga therapy balls combined with a more traditional style vinyasa class. Students will focus on certain areas of the body and how these areas relate to their lives. Therapy balls release places of tension or pain, and the vinyasa practice postures continue to open and strengthen those area of the body. This class offers deep release in the beginning, moving old energy out of the body then, more strengthening work, moving energy into the body, during the vinyasa practice.
This class is a slow and mindful vinyasa flow with lots of focus on breath and intention. The goal is to help you feel more connected to self and world no matter where you are in life. You will leave your mat feeling strong, confident and refreshed.
Vinyasa Power Flow & Dynamic Vinyasa
Dive into an energetic and more physically challenging 60 minute class with a greater focus on cultivating strength and vitality in the body. Open to all levels, Dynamic Vinyasa offers a mindful, healing, and exciting exploration of the body and spirit. This is our most dynamic, most challenging yoga offering. Offered in studio and online.
Vinyasa & Song
Our Vinyasa & Song practice allows students to flow through a 75 minute conscious and creatively designed sequence to explore a deeper asana (posture) with a focus on the breathwork and prana (life force). This class is just as powerful as our dynamic vinyasa, however, here we move slower and hold each pose longer to allow students of all levels to fully explore their spiritual, emotional and mental energies. Additionally, Surya incorporates beautiful chanting and song accompanied by the harmonium, singing bowl and gong. Offered in studio and online.
Our studio and class offerings are especially well-suited to women in all stages of pregnancy. Our instructors are experienced in working with pregnant women and our classes are non-heated. In all of our classes we move at an intentional pace making sure that the body feels internally supported.

When you arrive, either in-studio or virtually, please let your instructor know you are pregnant.
Private and semi-private (up to 4 students) sessions are also available. Private sessions can be used to enjoy a more challenging class, or a more relaxing class, than we offer on the schedule. Privates can also be tailored to any special needs in your pregnant body, and/or to design a home prenatal practice.
